Alta Community Enrichment (ACE) is an arts, cultural events and educational 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the Alta/Snowbird community. ACE offers year-round programming in our stimulating mountain environment. The events are varied and include the Wildflower, Snowflake and Telluride MountainFilm Festivals, Welcome to Winter Slide Show,  Local Music and Artist Shows, Avalanche Education, & Art in the Mountains, to name a few. We have monthly yoga classes, dance and art instruction as well. Many of our events are inspired by input from local artists and families. ACE also offers four grants to the community and we host an outreach program to Alta's one room school.

Friends of Alta Albion Basin Friends of Alta

Friends of Alta, Alta's local land trust, facilitates acquisition and conservation of undeveloped privately owned lands in Alta that exhibit watershed, open space, and wildlife habitat values. We support the protective policies of the Town of Alta, Salt Lake City's watershed management policies, and the U.S. Forest Service's policies and their stewardship of the area's public lands. In order to encourage stewardship among the general public, we support environmental studies and other research in an effort to educate people about the area's fragile and unique environment, as well as the value and contribution Alta's natural resources add to local and regional economies.
