The Alta Ski Shop and Demo Center has more than just skis to get you out on the snow in Alta, UT. They can set you up with snowshoe rentals and trekking poles so you can head out on a day of snowshoeing you will never forget. A full service ski and demo shop, the Alta Ski Shop and Demo Center also offers boot and ski rentals, winter appearal, Alta souvenirs, sunscreens, chapsticks and everything you need to enjoy your day in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Snowshoeing in Alta
There are several great Alta snowshoeing spots where you can get out and enjoy a peaceful day on the snow and in the woods. You may snowshoe in Alta on the Summer Road, located above the Albion Base. The Summer Road is groomed daily, and you can head up into Grizzly Gulch or toward the top of the Sunnyside chairlift. Please use caution when heading out on any backcountry adventure, always remembering to never go alone, and to take and have knowledge to use a beacon, shovel and probe.
