The mission statement of the Alta Chamber and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) is to promote the town of Alta, Utah and its surrounding businesses. Alta Chamber’s goal is also focused on bringing new and returning visitors to Little Cottonwood Canyon for a memorable Alta ski vacation, while maintaining the spirit and history of the world class Alta Ski Area. The Town of Alta and the Little Cottonwood Canyon community host thousands of eager skiers and summer adventurers every year. The Alta Chamber community page presents information on Alta-friendly businesses, Alta non-profit organizations, resources for medical services and the Alta ski clinic, resources for the Alta library and community center, religious services, employment opportunities, and more. You will also find official information on the town of Alta, Utah, providing a wealth of information on Alta recreation and other services that will help you plan your Alta ski vacation. Alta may be a small town focused on skiing, recreation, and the outdoors, but you will find that we have many of the resources and community amenities of a larger city. This charming mountain town nestled into Little Cottonwood Canyon has a lot to offer, and the Alta Chamber hopes to provide Alta visitors and residents with helpful information on the surrounding Alta community.
