Our ski rental shop offers high end demo packages, along with recreational skis. Let our rental shop experts put you on the right skis for the conditions. Overnight repair service is also available.  We do not carry children's ski rentals, but they are available locally at the Alta Ski Area.  Lift tickets are sold in the lodge’s Gift Shop.  In the Gift Shop, you’ll find snacks and other various Sundry items, along with many Alta souvenir items. Ski clothing, such as socks, gloves and helmets, are also available.

Whether you are a first time Alta skier or a seasoned powder hound the Deep Powder House is ready to provide you with the attention you need. We are home to Alta's only Masterfit Certified custom boot fitting professionals and the most state-of-the-art tuning/repair shop in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Our three Alta locations are staffed by dedicated skiers with a passion for deep powder snow and mountain life.  As the oldest ski shop in Utah, our passion to share the 'Alta Experience' is our motivation to provide you with "Service to Remember".  Let us serve you at all three of our Alta locations:  the Rustler Powder House at the Rustler Lodge, the Deep Powder House at the Alta Lodge and also at the Motherlode Powder House in the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge.

Ski Rentals in Alta Alta Ski Shop and Demo Center- Ski Rentals in Alta

The Alta Ski Shop(s) are located in the Wildcat Ticket Building, at Alf’s and at Watson Shelter. The Demo Centers are located in the Wildcat Ticket Building and outside of Alf’s mid-mountain restaurant. Demos and rentals are available for alpine, telemark and nordic skis, as well as snowshoes. Daily bag and ski check are available. Our technicians perform hand tuning, edge tunes, iron-on hot waxes, base grinds, base repairs, mounting for all types of skis and bindings, and minor boot adjustments.
