The first day was awesome! You could ski your favorite Alta classics (Highboy, Gunsight, Thirds, Ballroom, West Rustler), and get out on the groomers to show off your early season speed. After day one on the slopes, the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge was there with pizza and Alta Ale to fuel you up before heading to the Peruvian for an apres cocktail with friends.

If you have never experienced the peace of Alta’s Albion Basin in the summertime, you don’t know what you are missing! Blankets of flowers (seriously!) cover the slopes of your favorite Alta ski runs, and the hiking trails seem to lead you right to the most intense colors and wild views.
Right now, the colors are brighter along the Albion Meadows hiking trail
The weather couldn’t have been better for the Alta in April spring festival this year!
We had snow and sun, après ski parties and a swanky fundraising gala. We dressed in costumes and played on-mountain games with friends, and we skied powder like it was January. There was live music, free demo skis, and great deals on Alta lodging. The kids had fun craft events, a snowman building contest, an Easter egg hunt and at many Alta lodges, KIDS STAY FREE!
In case you missed it this year, don’t make the same mistake again!
