Come close. I’m here to let you in on a little secret. Ski season is not over and the spring skiing at Alta is the best in the Wasatch. Obviously, there’s the phenomenal snow. But the festivities and energy around Alta in April are the perfect way to spend your spring weekends.
Get Down on Demo Day
It’s the largest demo day in the Wasatch on Saturday, April 6. Take advantage of the chance to try next year’s skis from a ton of different manufacturers. And guess what? It’s completely free. All you need are your boots, a couple of signatures and a credit card. Registration starts at 8:30am and demos will run until 4:00pm.
Find more information here for Demo Day brought to you by the Deep Powder House.
In case a Demo Day isn’t enough, there will also be live music on the Goldminer’s Daughter patio from 11:30am – 5:00 p.m. After you’ve found your dream pair of skis for next season, celebrate on the deck with a pitcher and listen to some tunes.
- 11:30am-12:40pm High Nowhere
- 12:50pm-2:00pm Real Sly
- 2:10pm-3:20pm Mountain Soul
- 3:30pm-5:00pm Michael SG
What’s a better way to celebrate spring skiing at Alta than with live music and free demos?
Alta Earth Day
On Saturday, April 20, Alta will celebrate its 10th annual community Earth Day. You can be part of a collaborative effort to encourage environmental stewardship and responsible recreation and to help spread awareness of the relationship between climate change and the future of the ski industry in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
